A term used when someone ignores your text message, handshake, question, or presence. Mostly used in Northern New Jersey.

Jim: Hey Kim what's up?
*Kim ignores Jim*
Tim: Bro you just got faded by Kim!

Irish Fade

When you leave a party/bar/etc. without telling your friends, typically because you're afraid they won't let you leave. It's kind of a "better to ask for forgiveness than for permission" kind of thing.

"Sorry for the Irish fade late night. I went to get gum, and it just felt really right to just keep going. Bad friend, I know."

Cross Fade

A cross fade is when you get a happy fade, and do something mean to it. For example, punching it in the nose, or insulting it's mother. It's also a type of fade used in movies, but that's different.

He was a very happy man, but then the scene crossfaded into a cross fade joining the area. It ruined the mood.
