Mostly used as an Internet term. A descriptive used to define someone who is always looking to learn new information. The junkie part comes in when they seem to be 'addicted' to any new information. Frequents news sites, technology journals, reads many books, and seems to understand all this. Chosen topics of interest can be varied. Usually a first point of contact when your computer breaks or you're thinking of signing up to make money online for only a $500 deposit.

Tech Junkie

A tech savy person who cannot function/live without constantly being connected to the current Technology. This person is constantly thinking and/or talking about the current tech or whats just around the corner. Whether its the internet, HDtvs, gaming consols, smart phones or the latest Blu-Ray release, this is the guy you go to for your tech info & advice.

I wish Tim would just put his phone away when we are at the dinner table. Stop updating Twitter & Facebook & have a conversation with your wife! Oh well, I guess thats what you get when you marry a Tech Junkie.

Someone who just can't stop requesting friends on sites like MySpace or Facebook. This could last for a hours at a time. Once you see someone appealing, you add them then you'll find yourself adding their appealing top friends and so on.

Being the add junky that Jason is, he spends most of his down time requesting beautiful women's MySpace pages one after another for hours and hours.
