The act of comparing things even though there's already a word for it.

When we're deciding between two different things we we'll need to be comparising them to others.

You are right to feel bad for participating in this. You are wrong to do this to me. You don't care what I said. You don't care what I did. And neither do they. They are not going to make good on whatever threat they are making and when I inevitably DO... You are going to have no one to blame but yourself. They are not going to do anything to you for coming forward because to do so they would have to confess their complicity. And they are not going to give up what they will lose. Stop crying. Do the opposite of what is making you cry. That is not something I should have to explain to you."
