A soap opera which used to be unmissable entertainment, but since about 2001 it has completely lost the plot. All the interesting characters have gone, replaced by people who are either irritating, obnoxious or both. I've lived where there are a lot of real eastenders and they're nothing like the ones in this soap opera. Albert Square is now populated by patronising working-class stereotypes (who are usually criminals, wife-beaters, serial killers etc). Nobody can keep their trousers/skirt on for more than five minutes, and Dirty Den suddenly rising from the grave shows how desperate the series has become, having exhausted all possible storylines years ago. Only continues because soap operas are so cheap to make. Once you've built the sets, you can use them forever, and you only need to go on location for a week twice a year and have a special effect once in a blue moon. And you can use the same storylines over and over. Eastenders always has an extra-depressing storyline at Christmas. Ho-ho-ho to you as well. By the way, Eastenders is now on four times a week, so that's even more padding to enjoy.
To hell with decent plots and characters. What we want in eastenders are headline-grabbing gimmick storylines, no matter how ridiculous they are. Lol! Eastenders was always larger-than-life, but surely there must be some limits.

Get the eastenders mug.a school located in the middle of enola, pennsylvania. who mostly no one really knows about unless you attend there. its full of wanna be's and druggies, especially the high school. 1 out of 5 8th graders smoke pot with older people (high schoolers). every weekend youll find students at the olympic skating rink or driving/walking around with a blunt in their hand. its full of sluts, lesbians, and bisexual people. 1 out of 3 white kids act/pretend to be black. most preps dont get a long with the emo/scene kids. "love" relationships dont last and neither do friendships. by the time a student graduates...they have atleast done some type of drug once and lost their virginity.

Get the East Pennsboro High/Middle School mug.Related Words
The perceptual region in Wichita, Kansas, roughly defined as the area south of 45th St. N, east of Freeway 135, North of Kellogg (Highway 54), and west of Andover Rd. It is where the most affluent and cosmopolitan residents of Wichita live. East Wichita is the home of south central Kansas’s premier shopping centers, entertainment, Dining, and neighborhoods. A part of Kansas, and only one of two parts in Wichita, that defies the stereotype that most Kansans personify. Major schools attended by the residents of, or located on, the east side are: Heights High school, Southeast High School, Independent School, Kapun Mt. Carmel Catholic High School, Andover High School, Wichita Collegiate School, and Wichita State University. The East side can be divided into disputable sub-regions, such as: Andover, Bellaire, New Eastern Development, Bradley Fair Region, Ghetto south eastern core, Towne East Region, and the Eastern Douglas Region. Some negatives about the East side are: one of the largest "slums" of Wichita, the high density of psychotic Christians, and the Current state of Kellogg. East Wichita has freeways or highways that encircle the entire region and is easy to navigate. Parts to avoid are: parts of Oliver and Hillside south of 17th street/anything west of Woodlawn south of 17th street, Eastbourough, and nearly all of Grove St. It lacks any defining physical features of the landscape, and is largely flat. Major rival, and opposite, of West Wichita.
I live my entire life in East Wichita because there’s no reason to leave, everything is here! And the West side is a fucking joke!

Get the East Wichita mug.If you have not seen almost every state and city on the East Coast than why the fuck are you critizing it? The East Coast Streches from Maine to Florida. Some main cities are, Boston, New York City, Newark, Philly, Charleston, Atlanta, Miami, Orlando, just to name a couple. We have the smart New Englanders, the Rich New Yorkers, Kickass New Jersey, Amazing Philly, CRUNKED Atlanta, Hot Miami, The Carolinas and everything else. If your from the West Coast your either, a plastic, fake tan, hollister, whore. A homosexual that likes to rollerskate. A ghetto ignorant retard. Or a Complete weirdo. All the West Coasters have is California. Oregon and Washington suck ass. EAST COAST IS THE BEAST COAST.
West Coaster: We are the best part of America.
East Coasteer: That's why you only have one good state. Wow California might be good but we have Boston, New York City, New Jersey, Philly, Atlanta, Miami, and everything in between so fuck off.

Get the east coast mug.Located small town in Northeast PA that has grown exponentially in the past few years thank to a large influx of people from New Jersey and New York. Everyone comes in from the city and expects to have some kind of respect or status because theyre from BX or BK, like we really give a damn. Nearly half the white kids believe they are black, when clearly they are not. The teachers (mostly younger at the school are someone you are very likely to run into at a college party - very awkward. The high school football team never wins, more people show up to basketball games than football games, teachers there have been known to sleep with each other then leave theyre spouses and children for another teacher, the high school is called East Stroudsburg North though it is really located in Bushkill, PA and the adress reads Dingmans Ferry, PA. The lunches had to be revised becuase students are too fucking fat, guidance counselors are unhappy middle-aged women, and upperclassmen fall under the spell of skanky little freshman slores, usually named corinne. Almost 5 girls are pregnant every year. Teachers have also had relationships with students. You hear stories about someone getting caught fingering his girlfriend in class. We have the ugliest cheerleading team ever, the poorest homecoming decorations & floats ever, and the only pep rally we have becomes a goddamn dance party. The rival high school is East Stroudsburg South, and their whole athletic population is on steroids. Any bit of news travels down the mountain in no time, everyone eventually finds everything out. Our local mall is smaller than the Wal Mart. Wal Mart for some unknown reason is also a hangout for dense teenagers that have nothing to do at 2 AM. The local college, East Stroudsburg University, is a hot spot for senior high school students to get theyre party on.
"So did you hear about Js party on Friday?"
"No whattabout it?"
"Its an open invite, EVERYONES going!"
...a few hours after the party unwinds, everyone gets kicked out becuase of ridiculous amounts of assholes showing up.
"You know that student teacher, new to East Stroudsburg North?"
"Yeah..."
"I ran into him at an ESU party last weekend..."

Get the East Stroudsburg North mug.American postmodernist author of the mid 80's to the current day. Ellis was one of the so called Bratpack of American authors of the 1980's along with Jay McInerney and Tama Janowitz.
Ellis writes exclusively in the first person present tenths,as if the character is narrating the book.
Ellis's first novel 'Less Than Zero'(published while still in College) was a critical and commercial smash. Dealing with the vapid lives of wealthy California teens back from College for the Christmas hollidays. Ellis followed this up with 'The Rules Of Attraction' a college melodrama set in a thinly disguised Bennington college. It received less positive reviews. Then came Ellis's most famous and controversial book 'American Psycho.' The shocking book detailing in gruesome detail the exploits of stock broker and psychopath Patrick Bateman, drew howls of outrage from critics, NoW, and Ellis even received death threats.
What was lost in the furore was that Ellis's book was a scathing satire on the 1980's and as the author himself has said, largerly a feminist book.
Ellis didn't publish another full length novel (the patchy short story collection 'The Informers' aside) until the '99 novel Glamorama. A international thriller dealing with fashion model-terrorists and the increasing shallowness of society it was easily his longest book to date and the hardest to get into.
In 2005 Ellis released Lunar Park a so-called fictional autobiography with Ellis himself as the main character tormented by figures from his past, adjusting to married life in Suburbia copycat killings from AP. Many characters from his books are characters in this socalled autobiography, delighting his hardcore fans.
