When two creepers' gazes intersect they are obliged to engage in a battle of creepiness, since they are competitive creatures by nature. This includes doing a variety of odd things, such as: staring oddly, making strange face, emitting strange noises, etc. Whoever wins gains the knowledge that they are the better creeper of the two.
My opponent emitted a strange gurgling noise, beating my soulless stare, thus winning the creep off.
