Recieving the worst outcome possible in a certain situation.

John bought 6 jelly beans, to split out of 3 people.
Mary took 3, john took 2, and joe took 1. Therefore Joe ended up getting screwed.

when someone fucking blows out their throats into the microphone in a spine-tingling, heart pulling, mind numbing moment of pure beauty and awe.

In "Where did you sleep last night?" by Nirvana, Kurt does one of the best grunge screams ever, from 3:44 in the youtube vid to the end of the song. Even better; go look up "Kurt Cobain scream medley" on youtube. First vid there. THE BEST EVER.

screwed, blued and tattooed

Unlike the imaginative explanations given, the definition goes way back to early machinists. After inspecting a finished manufactured or repaired part, the Toolmaker/machinist would

1 tighten all parts and screws (Screwed)
2 Use Blueing a blue paint lke stain that stuck easaly to metal (blued) and
3 Put his inspectors mark through the blue paint with a sharp scriber (tattooed)

The part has passed inspection, it's been screwed, blued and tattooed and ready for release from the machine shop.

screwdad

A miscellaneous piece of hardware that requires some sort of screw driving implement (be it a Phillips head, IKEA wrench or otherwise) to put it in its place. The term is a hybridization of screw and doodad.

Has anyone seen that screwdad we use to keep this amplifier bolted down to the rack?
