"Mousedeered" is a slang term for "insomnia", derived from the Indonesian word "kancilan" with this same meaning — which is in turn derived from the Indonesian word "kancil" meaning "mouse deer". Mousedeered is commonly caused by excessive caffeine consumption (especially through black coffee) and screen time within an hour before bed.

After finishing that late cup of black coffee, I knew I was going to be mousedeered all night.
