Term used by gamers to "Lay flat on stomach and 'crawl'" - Used in First Person shooter games such as the new "Farcry" (Prone Key 'V').

Effective sniper shots are taken in the 'prone' position.

To achieve higher accuracy, you should PRONE before you shoot.

The word originates from the infamous hockey player Chris Pronger, who spreads the untrue rumours about irate Edmonton fans burning his furniture, including his baby's crib, after he asked to be traded from the Oilers.

Basically used when an authority that doesn’t like swearing is around but you really want to call someone a prick. Can also be used just to spice up your vocabulary. Each word can be used individually

“Don’t be such a prongus blongus!”
