Phantom Dumptaker

The Phantom Dumptaker is an elusive being that leaves its dump in the bathroom stall without flushing. The Phantom Dumptaker may leave his/her mark on public or private toilets with little or no consequence. Unfortunately funding for the war against the Phantom Dumptaker's terror is being used for the war on regular, non-Dumptaking terror.

Jeane: *Runs out of bathroom crying* OMFG some one left a disfigured baby in the toilet!!
Lisa: What Color was it ?!?
Jeane: *Sniff Sniff* Greenish Brown
Lisa: You have been hoodwinked by the Phantom Dumptaker!!!!!

phantom pain

Phantom pain is the pain amputees feel in the place where they have lost a limb. Initially it is hard for some to grasp the fact that they have lost a limb, because they can feel intense pain where their limb was. There are methods to reorient the mind so that the pain goes away or is greatly reduced.

Also relates to the imagined pain a person feels when someone they love disappears from their life.

Sarge, I think I have been hit, I got this horrible pain in my left leg.

Don't worry private, it is only phantom pain you are feeling, we got your leg in a secure location, where no buddy can cause it harm.

phantom vibrate

The feeling that you get, usually in the leg or butt, when you feel as though your cell phone is vibrating but it is actually not.

Usually accompanied with distinct loneliness or want of companionship.

Increasingly common when the cell phone is always in the same place (ie. back pocket, side pocket, front pocket etc.)

I was so excited because i thought that my friend had text messaged me. It was just a phantom vibrate...

Phantom Pregnancy

A phantom pregnancy is when someone thinks they're pregnant, when they're actually not. Sort of like a phantom text, when you think you feel your phone vibrate, but it really didn't. You begin to imagine signs of pregnancy, such as morning sickness, irritation towards everything and everyone, the munchies, ect.

Girlfriend: I'm pregnant! I swear I'm pregnant!
Boyfriend: .. That's not possible.
Girlfriend: Yes it is! We've screwed a thousand times!
Boyfriend: It's probably just a phantom pregnancy...
Girlfriend: No! I swear, I am! I think I feel kicking too!
Boyfriend: I'm sterile.

phantom im

When someone you're talking to over AIM types something for a while, then backspaces it and doesn't send it, and you only knew they were about to say something because your IM client shows when they're typing something?

The backspaced IM is a "phantom im". It often really is something better left unsaid.
Sometimes confused with "typing something meant for someone else in the wrong window".

"I asked Mike what his phantom im was, but it was something I wish I hadn't asked about."

Phantom Vibrate

when you feel your phone vibrating but nobody called you.

the third setting to put your your phone's ringer on. it is not mentioned in phone manuals, nobody knows how to turn it on or off.

"felt the phone vibrating and reached to pick it up but it was just on phantom vibrate".

Loud, Vibrate, Phantom Vibrate.

I was waiting for her text, but she kept making my phone phantom vibrate.
