Outragetivism (out-rage-tuh-viz-um)- noun

Temporarily appearing to do something about a perceived or actual problem during the short time it is relevant in the current social media news cycle and/or while you're pissed about it. Usually done while voicing your opinions on the matter in question into an online echo chamber

The political equivalent of running home and crying to mommy, frequently used by politicians to distract the public from relivant issues
