Dunning-Kruger Syndrome

Incompetent people who think they are intelligent, but are actually to incompetent to recognize they are are not.

as outlined in the Cornell research named after the professors who discovered it, the Dunning-Kruger Effect..

" incompetent people will:
tend to overestimate their own level of skill;
fail to recognize genuine skill in others;
fail to recognize the extremity of their inadequacy;
recognize and acknowledge their own previous lack of skill, if they are exposed to training for that skill."

Michelle Bachman has a severe case of Dunning-Kruger Syndrome. If only we have universal healthcare that poor woman could get help.

I know that Vice President Biden shows signs of Anaphylactic Agnitio, but I dont know if i would go as far as to say he has Dunning-Kruger Syndrome.

dumpster dining

The art of saving good food from dumpsters. It helps to have inside knowledge of exactly when specific items are dumped from each restaurant or store. Results in being able to regularly eat relatively fresh seafood, meats, baked goods, fruits and veggies.

Joe has been homeless around here for years, and he's an expert at dumpster dining. Almost every day for him, it's a smorgasbord.

Diverted attention while eating either solo or with others. May occur in a private residence, or at a restaurant or public event. Minor distractions may include obnoxious people in the vicinity; major disturbances may include medical or police emergencies.

I had a distracted dining experience last Thanksgiving. My sister's baby wouldn't stop crying and fussing.

A guy collapsed in the cafeteria the other day. We had to call paramedics. It was definitely distracted dining.
