Verum Deus is a short lived campaign created by newfags on 4chan who thought they could troll the world. Their goal was to create a fictional cult and spam social networks such as facebook, youtube, and twitter. The idea originated on /x/ then mitigated to /b/ where it was left to die.

If you're really bad at online gaming (e.g. a complete and utter fragwhore) and thus always back at online gaming, then you're referred to as 'deusmachine'. Often also sour because you failed to get into a clan that you wanted to join.

(opposite: Enchiladas - means an online legend, popular for both his talent and flaming ability).

Person 1: Did you see that Deus getting moody last night in slums because he camped the whole match with nades? Stupid deusmachina...
