Turning Stone

The worst casino on Earth, located in Verona, NY. The payouts are god-awful, they don't serve alcohol, and you could drop $1,000 there and not get comp'd a sandwich. However it's proximity to Albany, Syracuse and Rochester keeps it full, despite the fact that everyone knows going there is a bad idea.

Turkish coffee is prepared by boiling finely powdered roast coffee beans in a pot (cezve), possibly with sugar, and serving it into a special cup(fincan), where the dregs settle. Turkish coffee is drunk slowly and is usually served with a glass of cold water (to freshen the mouth to better taste the coffee before sipping), though sometimes, especially after dinner, with a small glass of mint liqueur. It is also served with Turkish delight traditionally. All the coffee in the pot is poured into cups, but not all of it is drunk. The thick layer of sludgy grounds at the bottom of the cup is left behind. The cup is then commonly turned over into the saucer to cool, and then the patterns of the coffee grounds can be used for a kind of fortune telling called tasseography (Turkish: kahve fali)

Turkish coffee is called ôïýñêéêïò êáöÝò in Greek, turska kava in South Slavic and cafea turceascain Romanian.

Turin

A city in Northern Italy close to the Alps, it is probably best known to British people as being the set for the adventurous film, 'The Italian Job'.
The film did excellent work exposing some of Turin's most prominent landmarks, indeed the Mini Cooper chase was designed to take in sights like the Fiat Factory, the shopping malls, the Gran Madre di Dio church and the Torino Palavela buliding.
Turin is Italy's car capital with the Fiat Group based here, and it also hosted the Winter Olympics in early 2006. Turin most prominent sporting legacy though is the world renowned football team, Juventus FC.

A short city break to Turin may be a refreshing break from work.

slipping in the turning lane

To get car jacked in the far right lane at an intersection because you stopped instead of rolling through and making the right turn. This term was made infamous in Texas. Mainly in the Houston, Dallas, and Port Arthur areas. Car jackers set up and hide at intersections waiting for a vehicle of there liking to roll through. If it stops and is in the turning lane, car jackers ambush the vehicle, get in and make the right for the previous driver never to be seen again. Car jackers who do this, have no shortage of victims in Texas. Many people in Texas have slabs and/or customized, flashy vehicles and one of the ways they show them off is by moving slow or stopping in the turning lane near intersections.

When your in Texas, don't EVER get caught slipping in the turning lane.
