Nickname given to John Gotti because he was charged with different crimes multiple times but he was never convicted (before he was finaly convicted). The charges would never stick, hence the name.

The teflon don was responsible for the begining of the end of the gambino crime family because of his big mouth.

1. Popularized by rappers (namely 50 cent), this term refers to armor piercing rounds that have hardened steel slugs with a teflon coat. The teflon coat is strictly to protect the integrity of the barrel, and since it usually peels off during it's trajectory through the air, the teflon does not aid at all in bullet penetration.

2. This term also refers to DuPont tactical teflon vests. Contrary to popular belief TEFLON IS NOT BULLETPROOF. Teflon is the nylon-type fabric used for the outside of the vest, while kevlar is the bulletproof material inside. So when 50 cent says he's got "teflon on (his) chest" it may be a bulletproof vest, but the teflon is NOT the bulletproof material.

1. I had my strap loaded up with some teflon so I could drop that fool wearin his vest. Bullets went straight through that kevlar.

2. Just in case it gets crazy out there I'm gunna wear my teflon vest. It's got the kevlar for protection, plus tons of pockets for whatever I might need.

Teflon suit

A type of material, invisible to the naked human eye, that grants the wearer immunity to all forms of duty and responsibility. Commonly found in bureaucratic fields of work, such as city government, state, and federal positions. Any request for work or assistance made towards the wearer of a teflon suit will instantly bounce off, rebounding to the nearest individual not in possession of a teflon suit.

"Hey, did you ask Gary for that bi-weekly report due today?"

"Yeah, I went to his desk to get it, but somehow I ended up on the other side of the building asking Rick for it."

"Sounds like Gary just got his teflon suit back from the dry cleaners."

Tefelo is someone who'll stand by your side, and will be there when the smoke clears. He defines the words thoughtful, sweetheart, caring, &romantic. Someone who'll make you laugh until you cry with all his crazy antics. He is someone you can be yourself around, even when you barely know who you are. Tefelo will most likely be the reason you're living, the one who pulled you out of the water just before your head goes under. Someone who will sit and hold you because you're afraid of thunder. Tefelo is the definition of perfect; "Having all the required or desirable elements, qualities, or characteristics; as good as it is possible to be" Even though he won't say he agrees. Everyone knows that it's true.basically a badass... this person is really cool. Everyone looks up to them and wants to get with them. He is also an absolute lad. Not just any lad. He’s a lad lord
