Get the scoodilypoop mug.When using online media many times you will find a comment that has been made by someone that obviously has not read the post, watched the video, read the article etc. While many of these might be thought to be stupid or made by stupid people SCOTD is not meant to address these. Using good internet etiquette replies to such should point out the incorrect and or unsupported claims and correct them if at all possible. The use of SCOTD should be reserved to address reply comments ( commenter replies to an existing comment) that clearly indicate that the commenter doesn't understand the basic premise or are mixed up as to even what the intent of the comment is, or more rarely but also applicable have worded it so poorly as to make it appear that their statement is the opposite of their actual intent.
