This word wouldn't exist if "metro" didn't happen to rhyme with "retro." It's supposed to mean the opposite of a "metrosexual," which makes it another superfluous word since we already have a word for the opposite of a metrosexual called "straight."

Fact is he knows the "feminine side" is a lie from the pits of hell. He is in fact a man the way God the Creator made man.
As the man in front of us opened the door for his wife you could tell he was a retrosexual. He sure is more manly than the girly man behind him.
