Retrieving server info is a process most commonly known in the Valve games, such as Team Fortress 2. When you try to enter a server, it goes through several steps before you are in the server. Retrieving server info is the longest step in waiting to go into a server, and it's long waiting times have attributed to prolonged boredom and anger.

"Did you get into that awesome TF2 server yet?"
'No, I'm stuck at retrieving server info. Ugh! Why won't you load!"

retribution car

A retribution car is the vehicle you buy after your original car has been taken away/sold without your approval (for example: your original car was taken in a divorce settlement or was sold by a co-signer). The retribution car is a better, saucier, or somehow sassier vehicle than the original.

Bridget: My dad was an a-hole and sold my super cute 2004 carolla without my permission!

Eden: Oh my god! What did you do?
