Not physically unattractive, but so entirely lacking or offputting in personality while attempting to overcompensate, that no one can stand to be around them. If they have friends, they're only in it for the shiny objects or perks the dotrok might have or have access to. Without said objects or perks, they will be alone.

Sam Whitwicky is a major dotrok. Megan Fox only went with him for his car.
