Cutting butter

The act of accidentally taking a short cut, when a longer route was planned.

By Charles' calculations it would take about 30 minutes to walk to the the local discotheque.

As he had time to kill he decided to take a long cut through a new neighborhood.

12 minutes later Charles saw the unmistakeable lights emanating from the disco and thought to himself 'man I wanted to take it slow, but all the time I was cutting butter'

cutting

Cutting is when you take a sharp object (razor blade, saftey pin, knife, push pin, etc.) and cut a part of your body with it. It doesn't have to me on your arms/wrists and you don't have to be emo. It's often a result of depression. It does make you feel a whole lot better(I know from experience) and "preps", "Goths', "Jocks", and all these other little clicks are capible of doing it,
it's not just the emos. It's really addictive. It's hard to stop and hard to control.

You can't make somebody stop cutting if they don't want to. It's not that easy to just say "stop cutting" and tomorrow it'll be all better,
it some times takes years to completely stop cutting.

Cutting Clay

In pottery class the teacher cuts individual portions of clay off a large block with a wire.

With that example, when you are wearing a thong and you have to hold it (poop). Sometimes you cant hold it long enough and it comes out... it cuts through the "clay". Even if you aren't actually crapping yourself its a funny reference to use when you need to use the restroom.

Isabel: Oh my god! Hurry up and drive i have to take a pooooo!!
Katie: Hold it, we are almost there girl.
Isabel: Im seriously cutting clay right now, HURRRRRRY!
Katie: Dont shit yourself! You'll soil your D&G!
