swample

v. - the act of swapping something with another to sample what they have; combination of swap and sample = swample
(this word came about when i accidently typed "swample" for "sample" and my friend and i took it from there and i came up with a definition. i think that everyone should use this word! haha)

a few examples:

when having a meal with someone and they have something on their plate that looks good:
"mind if i swample some fries for an onion ring?"

the mutual sharing of something:
"dan and i swampled cds this weekend."

...and i'm sure anyone with their mind in the gutter could think of some other uses of "swample"...

Sample Zombies

Sample Zombies are the mindless creatures that derive their primary sustenance from free food samples in stores. Generally, they are harmless to bystanders as their primary focus is the free food. But occasionally, when herded together, they can emit noxious gas and block aisle ways - causing disruption to folks who are actually there to shop.

A sense of horror rushed over me when I realized I was shopping in Costco at lunch time. Droves of sample zombies converged to feast on the free offerings, clogging the aisles as they devoured samples as fast as they came out of the toaster ovens. I raced for the safe zone where samples of salad were being dispensed. Much like vampires fear garlic, sample zombies avoid anything with fiber.
