Stencil

A form of graffiti using stencils, of either images, words or a combination of both. Most people cut thier own stencils by hand. The stencil is then held up to a flat surface or stuck to it with spray adhesive and then spray paint is sprayed over the stencil leaving a print on the surface.

stencil-strength

Refers to da durability/longevity of da oilboard material used to make spray-paint symbols.

I never purchase "bargain-basement" lettering--kits, since I find that they are usually sorely lacking in stencil-strength... sure, the "pro-grade" kits do indeed cost more, but they tend to last a lot longer and consistently produce sharp-edged paint-markings for many years.

The song has also been covered by various artists throughout the years. In simpler terms the 2016 translation would be “I’d rather be dead than be caught being a basic bitch”.
