Luckbox

A person so full of luck in poker that it is disgusting and ridiculous. There is surely some skill involved, but a luckbox will demonstrate more luck mixed in with that skill than any other player.....ever......in the history of the world......even more than Chris Moneymaker, which is just absurd.

Player 1: I just caught a flush on the river to win a 500 dollar pot! The other guy had Aces but I cracked them good!
Player 2: Stfu you luckbox.

Someone who has absolutely no skills in poker, plays like a fish but gets there every time, someone you love and hate at the same time at a poker table.

What a dumbass poker player, who only plays strong hands and almost systematically all-in, calls a gambler, who sometimes calls with speculative hands and a higher stack, when the latter wins the pot.

NL Omaha 8 tournament, final table, blinds 25-50

Gambler (3000$): 4567 limps in
Tight player (1000$): A99K calls the SB

Flop: A 2 9

Tight player (with a set of nines and no low) shoves 500$

Gambler thinks for a minute and then raises all in (with a good LO draw and two straight draws)
Tight player calls immediately

Board: A 2 9 5 8

Gambler scoops the pot: HI 56789, LO 65421
Tight player writes: "you fucking luckbox"

Luck Box

Used to account for one's surprisingly good fortunes or previously unknown talents. A way to rationalize when something happens that far exceeds the known abilities of someone or something.

I thought going into the fantasy football draft this year that it would be a total crapshoot, but I was able to luck box a crenshaw team that is rock chalk to win the championship.

testicle lockbox

A figurative device, in which a woman hold's a man's manhood, preventing him from acting as per his natural state. Implicit in this arrangement is that the woman has means of reprisal against the man, and should he misbehave, grave consequences await. Most commonly used to describe arrangements in spousal or significant-other relationships, but can also be used in other scenarios where a woman has power over a man, and he must accede to her demands or face consequences. Often abbreviated, just 'TLB', especially when used in polite company.

The word is only correctly used if the man feels emasculated as a result - it does not cover all situations where a woman has authority over a man. A female boss who just threatens to fire a guy would not have him in a testicle lockbox if he feels machismo because of it.

In the late 90's, perhaps the genesis of the term, it was used to describe the arrangement Hillary Clinton had come to with Bill Clinton after the Monica Lewinsky scandal erupted.

Q: Joe, you wanna go bowling tonight?
A: Naw, man, my old lady, she don't want me being out late.
