Not like the literature heavy, dull and archaic everyday metaphors and similes in novels, newspapers and articles - a Megaphore is specially crafted to amuse, amaze or offend and can reference anything from current events to celebrities.

That Megaphore was so funny it almost made me forget to take my annual shit on Jade Goody's coffin.

That Megaphore was so obscene it put me off my planned munging trip.
