CUD'd Closest Unit Dispatching; Originally designed to expedite Police response to calls for service. After going live with CUD it was learned to cause complete anarchy and chaos amongst partners, as area integrity was no longer a factor in handling calls, and fate was decided on your GPS location. Soon the cities utilizing CUD were overtaken, trust amongst users was lost due to GPS's being unplugged.
Dispatch: "Squad 123 please start for a report call in regards to the lobby where 10 people are waiting to make various reports about petty crime"
Squad 123: "Damnit that's not even my area, where is squad 124, that is their area!"
Squad 124: "Bro, we're using CUD now, its no longer my problem"
Squad 125: "Squad 123 YOU JUST GOT CUD'D, bro"
