Utility, or Util, when used in contexts of online multiplayervideo games, means:
1. Something that affect the game but not in a way of simply dealing damage or healing, for example skills of crowd control and debuff.
2.The quality of being able to affect the game besides dealing damage or healing.
3. In some games, for example Valorant, it is just a synonym for Skill or Ability, no matter if it simply just deals damage or heals.

2. If you've ever used a speed boost to escape pursuers and assured death you know utility can be a deciding factor in battles.
3.In Valorant you need not only to aim and shoot accurately but also to be adept in of all your utilities.
When you let a fingernail grow (usually the thumb or index finger) so it's just long enough to perform handy tasks.
This can be useful for opening packages, scraping stuff, picking your nose (if you're so inclined), self defense, plucking a stringed instrument, itching scratches... etc.
