As a kid just over the line from RI, I would wait by the radio on snowy school mornings hanging on every word of school closings that Salty Brine would call out. While most times my school had to go to school, *GROAN!* there was most always a school that made the no school cut. Fostertopia
Communist empire founded by a band of enraged students and their world history teacher, Ms. Foster. Once established, the country began to conquer many a history class until the nation of Justintopia wanted a piece of the pie and stepped in. Led by King Justin III (twice removed), the country led a valiant fight until the mighty gradebook of Ms. Foster came down upon them, causing them to retreat. Shortly afterward, Fostertopia's "key republic" 5th Period World History (Pre-AP), signed a declaration of independence in rebellion of their dictator. The document was acknowledge, but freedom was never received. Today, Fostertopia lives in civil war as many loyalists and rebels continue to quarrel in the halls of Health Careers High School.
