croakleys

A combination of wearing "Croakies" neoprene sunglass straps with "Oakley" sunglasses. A blend of function and fashion from 1992, still embraced by the outdoor working class. The drape of the Croakies serves the ancillary benefit of creating an artificial mullet for its wearer; or, more likely serving to enhance the existing mullet.
Yo, my landscaper looks cool with his croakleys and his high and tight grey Lees.

croakies

Name for the sunglasses strap first used by contractors, fishermen, golfers, etc, then made popular on college campuses in the south by fraternity guys. Considered by some to be the hallmark of the frat boy, much as the Vera Bradley purse is to the sorority girl.
Sport fisherman: I have croakies for my ray-bans that float in case they fall off in the water.

Frat boy: Me too!

Sport fisherman: The only time you need to worry about them falling off is when youre doing a kegstand.

Going Martha Coakley

Failing in a situation when you have everything set up for you to succeed; requires an enormous amount of incompetence and stupidity. A legitimate epic fail; something that only happens to a complete moron. Refers to the 2010 Massachusetts senate race where Martha Coakley ran one of the worst campaigns and saw an almost default Democratic seat lost to a Republican.
Person 1: How did we lose to the JV team?! We're on the Varsity! We should have won by 50!

Person 2: Dude, I know. I was worried we might become an example of Going Martha Coakley.

Person 1: God, I feel like such a failure. We had everything we needed to win.
verb: to lose something - particularly but not limited to a political race - which was once thought to be easily attainable.
If you're too confident, and believe you're as great as everyone says you are, you'll coakley the game for sure.

Kroakleys

A pair of Oakley brand sunglasses that are worn at all times of the day and during any conditions. Which include, but are not limited to, bicycling, napping, porch sitting, walking in the rain, broomballing, marching band, and musical concerts.
I just saw him on campus again wearing his kroakleys, does he ever take them off?

Although Martha had a 30 point lead in the bluest of blue states, she lost the election. She has been coakleyed.
