Literally, one who has only one race, believes that they have only one race, or denies all their races except for one. Pejoratively, one whose pride about their own racial purity detriments others and society.

Springfield Monorail 

A public works project that is a huge waste of taxpayer money that turns out to be either a scam, a huge waste of money or both.
Comes from the Simpsons episode "Marge vs the Monorail" where Springfield spent all their money on a monorail only to have it fall apart on its maiden voyage.

The sky lift system cleveland put in fell apart after a week. That thing was a real Springfield Monorail.

This is where the cat will lay with all four paws under his body and head laying on floor. It was so named for its resemblance to the mass transit system, the Monorail.
