A co-worker who chooses to spend as much time as possible in meetings, often times uninvited. Usually they do this to avoid doing productive work themselves, claim credit for their team's work or at least insinuate that their leadership was critical to their success, and generally just get more face time with senior management than their hard-working colleagues.
P1: Uh, have you seen my junior assistant today?
P2: No, he seems to be in meetings all day.
P1: That is odd. I have not seen any invites on my calendar, we have a harsh deadline approaching, and I am the project leader.
P2: Yes, I would be careful. Your assistant is a meeting whore. He will have people convinced he is running the project by day's end.
A meeting where someone close to you (e.g. friend, family, etc.) are confronted over behavior that's causing consternation that's negatively effecting your relationship.
"You and your brother need to have a come to jesus meeting over you always having to do his chores and yours."
A code term for having to take a shit. Can be used in public because people that overhear will think your are a sophisticated businessperson that has a lot of money, but in reality you just need to take a shit.
Guy 1: Yo, let's go see that new Twilight movie, I hear it's banging.
Guy 2: Gimme a minute, I gotta have a meeting with the investors, and as we all know, they are not known for their patience.
