Boomerang Sickie

When, having taken a sickie or made an excuse that you are ill when you are actually well to avoid work or a social event you then become ill soon afterwards and have to go to work or event when ill.
Woman 1"Why is Bill at work today when he is obviously ill?"
Woman 2 "Oh, he took a sickie a week ago to go to Glastobury festival and now he has a boomerang sickie. That's Karma for you"

Facebook sickie

Posting a status update on Facebook claiming to be ill in order to avoid or get our of social commitments or engagements. Differs from vagebooking in that it is not done to attract sympathy or attention, but rather to provide an excuse for staying home. May also be done to corroborate a sick day from work or school.
"I really couldn't be bothered going to the party, so I chucked a facebook sickie."

Tactical sickie

Planning a sick day from work in advance by telling your colleagues the day before that you don’t feel well, thus planting the seed that you may be ill. Usually when there’s nothing wrong with you and you already have other plans.
I’m not going into work tomorrow, already told my boss I was feeling ill today, pulling a tactical sickie tomorrow.

Chuckin a Sickie

CHUCKIN A SICKIE - Faking you’re too sick to come into work when you’re actually hungover from the previous night or going to do something with your friends.

chucking a sickie

A phrase from Australian slang. Used when someone has called off work, claiming to be sick, when they are in fact fine and just don’t want to go into work for any reason
Ethan: Oi, Dave, you wanker, I thought you had work today? What’re you doing in the bar?
Dave: Yeah nah, I’m chucking a sickie.

Sickeningly

Sickeningly is an adjective which means causing or capable of causing sickness, especially nausea disgust or loathing.
Some of the definitions written for Urban Dictionary by teenage spite monkeys are sickeningly repulsive and graphically demonstrates their childish, self-aggrandising stupidity.
