Emotional Potato 

Someone who is so emotionally hurt, or depressed that they just want to crawl into their bed and cry until they're sick.

A person who is so upset that they are abnormally quiet, unenthusiastic, lifeless, and give off the characteristics of a potato.

Being in the mindset that everything would be better off if you were a potato and had no worries, that life was easy and carefree; someone who is tired of being themselves or living their own life
