On Wikipedia, an edit war is where someone changes an entry, and then someone else changes it back. These two then keep changing the entry back and forth rather than discussing the matter on the talk page.

Recently, and edit war on Wikipedia's 'British Isles' entry over whether it was right to include Ireland in the British isles led to textbook pbulisher Fallons to remove all references to the 'British isles' from the Irish editions of their atlases.

edit whore 

A looser who edits for Urban Dictionary who has no social life, sits at the computer for hours on end, and compulsively rejects peoples definitions with a dirty tube sock stuffed in their mouth while subsequently maintaining a 2-inch erection. Edit whores commonly live with their parents and will often times wear their mother’s bra and panties while they wallow in a wasteland of potato chip crumbs and scat fetish mags.

Note: It is recommended that you approach edit whores with extreme caution as they are known for twirling on shit-stained computer chairs while frantically slinging excrement on their keyboard as they redundantly and unintelligibly hit the “reject button” like a tambourine monkey on crack.

Don’t bother wasting time on submitting a definition to urban dictionary...an edit whore will surely reject it.

The guilt you feel from amassing terabytes of video footage from your video camera (GoPro) and then hiding it away from the world because you’re a lazy, worthless, procrastinating human being who wants the final edit to be perfect for your three youtube subscribers.

Edit-fu 

The popular practice in Hollywood (and sometimes, in Asian cinema) of using rapid-fire editing to compensate for sloppy fight choreography or actors who are poor martial artists. The key signs of edit-fu are frequent shot changes in between moves (and sometimes during them, if it's really bad) and is sometimes accompanied by a close-up, shaky camera do further prevent the audience from actually looking at the fight.

Person 1: Hey did you see that martial arts movie starring that underwear model who was fighting all the ninjas?

Person 2: Yeah, and it sucked. The story was lame, no-one could act, and not even the fights were any good because they used so much edit-fu.
