2025-A review of Hemet after living here 12 years. I'm 66 and retired. The City encourages building WAREHOUSES throughout Hemet.
4 warehouse complexes are already here with more planned for 2026. 4 large warehouses planned right next to The Lakes at Hemet
West Mobile Home resort in
West Hemet, a huge senior retirement community. Existing warehouses are blocking off the "Natural
Beauty" of the foothills. The Main hospital has been closed down by OSHA for sub-standard conditions to staff & patients. Homelessness on every street, Potholes, High crime, Poverty, Stores closing, No major stores in the Mall. High Temps for 8 months with High Cost to AC your home. NOT a safe city for retirees/seniors. Small
police force for over 100,000 residents. NOT an active area. Nothing to do here unless you travel 40-80 miles away to larger cites or coast. It takes 45 minutes to get to the nearest freeway. Buyers should know the actual conditions here before buying a home for $500K or more. Have lived in this city 12 years and leaving. The
grass IS
greener elsewhere.
