Spur 

1. Part of an Auger, near the cutting lip. Form in a circle-ish twist. Used to support an Auger in making holes.

2. A basketball team based in San Antonio, Texas. Founded in 1967, they have won 5 NBA championships: In 1999., 2003., 2005., 2007., and 2014. They've played at the Frostbank center, since 2002, which has a capacity of 18,000.

3. A soccer (football) team based in Tottenham, North London. Founded in 1882. Full name, Tottenham Hotspur. They have never won a Premier League, and have played at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium since 2019, which has a capacity of 62,000.

spur of the moment 

Spur of the moment means to do something on impulse, without any forward planning. This could be due to fear, or as such, another emotion. The majority of people confuse this with 'spare of the moment', which in itself is an incorrect statement.
