(Noun) A case of beer consisting of 24 bottles. Usually enough for one or two Canadians. "Case" or "Box" are seldom used in lieu of two-four. Popularly consumed with a candle light dinner.

The first long weekend of the summer can also be called the 2-4 Weekend because the traditionally named Victoria Day weekend is a time for opening the summer cottage and getting the boat in the water.
