A gathering similar to a flash mob organized through social media, where a group meets near a small business and spends about $20 each. The location is kept a secret until the last minute, although clues are given out in advance and the business is usually surprised. The atmosphere is usually very silly and fun.

Somewhat related to or an outgrowth of the occupy movement.

Term used in the military or government to describe being near a headquarters. The flagpole is often located near this building. Its not someplace most people want to be since it usually involves political infighting, following all rules to the letter and bureaucratic drudgery.

This can even mean working in a different building some distance away but the common thought is that the closer you physically are, the worse it can be.
I've been goofing off way out here but they're moving me close to the flagpole.

Allowing your eyes to wonder. Looking at women.

Used as military slang. LIbO is short for "Liberty." Liberty is an official term for time off in the military (similar to leave). When one's eyes are supposed to be straight ahead in formation, looking around is called "putting your eyeballs on liberty." Drill instructors or unit leaders will often become very upset when this happens.

Also used when not in formation as a joke or colloquialism.
OOHHHHHH, GOOD TO GO THERE RECRUIT!!! YOU JUST WANT TO BE ON EYEBALL LIBO. You'll pay.

Hey man, lets go to the beach for some Eyball LibO.

The United States mainland. Term used by American Servicemen in Southeast Asia (especially in the Philippines) to describe how they believe America is thought of by the natives. Usually used in conjunction with marriage.

Possibly also used by the natives themselves. PX stands for Post Exchange which is basically the military department store. It sold goods that the average local store didn't have. Servicemen would bring their native girlfriends or wives shopping on base. As they understood it, America had all of these goods and more. It was their main association with the US.
