A whirling storm of snide remarks in response to a particularly controversial or inflammatory statement. Commonly seen on social media.
A wordplay on the term Sharknado.

"Jeez, all I said was I like Justin Bieber. I didn't expect it would unleash such a snarknado."

A specific flowering plant whose pollen causes severe hay fever in an individual. Its flowering season is dreaded by that individual every Spring.
