Occlumency 

The act of magically closing one's mind against Legilimency.

The word "occlumency" comes from the Latin occludere, meaning "to shut up" and mens, for "mind".
Legilimency and Occlumency are not part of the normal curriculum at Hogwarts, and most students would graduate without learning them.

Drinking all the water you can at a source in order to minimize the amount of water you are carrying. (One liter of water weighs two pounds).
Your pack is too heavy? Camel up, there is a water source ahead.

Keep What You Kill 

The Underverse is their promised land, believing that unless a person dies "in due time" that they will not go to the Underverse. They also believe heavily in a philosophy that says "you keep what you kill", believing that ending another's life entitles you to their property and position.

The feeling of solitariness that comes from missing something or someone you love.
