It is sometimes called "the gateway of Delco" because it has two main roads in and out of the city (West Chester Pike/Market street and Marshall Road)and because the 69th street terminal provides transportation to and from the city and Montgomery County. It is home of the Tower theater, Sellers library (old "Hoodland estate), and friendly people. The Township has five fire companies and a hard working police department as well as a hospital (Delaware County Memorial). Main roads include the West Chester Pike, Lansdowne ave, 69th street, State road, Township Line (US route 1),Burmont ave, Garrett road, and long lane. Get the Lansdowne mug.A creek that runs through Haverford (in Delaware County, Pennsylvania) past the historic Grange estate, then becomes the border between Upper Darby Township and the City of Philadelphia. It then passes between the borough of Millbourne and philly before turning south past Fernwood Cemetery, again serving as the border between Upper Darby and Philadelphia. It then becomes the border between Yeadon borough and Philadelphia and continues south to border Colwyn and Philly. It flows into Darby creek at the Colwyn, Sharon Hill, and Darby township border lines. SEPTA's route 100 high speed trolly line (old P&W) runs next to it in Haverford and part of Upper Darby. The Cobbs creek parkway borders it for a while in Philadelpia as well as Cobbs creek park. SEPTA's Market-Frankford line borders the creek in the borough of Millborne.

Get the bmw mug.A decent car but not worth buying. It's pretty ugly as well. Torque is non existant. Also gets 13mpg (I drove one for a few thousand miles, not making it up). Pretty bad for a 1.3 liter engine that's not even that fast. Don't buy this car.
