I type “qwertyuiopasdfghjklzxcvbnm” on keyboard but find “йцукенгшщзхъфывапролджэячсмитьбю” on the screen. I then check the keyboard layout and finally discover that it’s set to Russian.

Guy 1: Who would ever create an alphabet with the special letters at the end, right after Z?
Guy 2: I don’t know, but the German alphabet sure does have the umlauts and ß right after the letter Z. This means that the German alphabet goes like this: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ ÄÖÜß.
Guy 1: Yeah, now I get it. Most alphabets sort the original letters and the letters with the diacritical marks in alphabetical order. That’s why I thought the German alphabet went like this: AÄBCDEFGHIJKLMNOÖPQRSßTUVWXYZ.
