Music slang. Origin obscure, but has been in use since the 1970's

A person who blags their way into parties, or back stage at music events just to get free food and drinks, and to bore their friends stupid with stories of 'how they met David Coverdale,' or 'hung out with members of Led Zeppelin.

1) Someone who indulges in anal sex, normally a gay male, but not always so.
2) A machine used by Cadbury's to put bars of Fudge into boxes for distribution
3) The opperator of the above machine.

fair and balanced

A media term. An ideal which all newspapers, TV stations and other media should aspire too. This means giving equal air time column inches etc to all sides of the arguement. However in the world of commercial media cartels this ideal is sacrificed on the alter of the profit margin, political influence and self interest.

These days to gain a fair and balanced view of current events it is best to source your news from a number of different sources that offer as wider range of opinions as possible and make your own mind up.

To go wrong, to be victims of Murphy's Law. Often heard for the lips of actors in Brit crime flicks and cop shows Origin obscure.

UK usage.

A gelletine desert, usally fruit flavoured served with ice cream or cold custard. Known in the US as Jello
