If people never question what they see, hear, or read, everything seems more exciting, colorful, or like a bigger deal than it actually is in reality, whether it's a movie, the news, or a book. A movie, show, book, or song that was really closely based on reality would bore most people within minutes, and that wouldn't be as profitable as making something or someone that isn't really too interesting sound interesting, exciting, and colorful.

Get the Realitymug. Some non black people think having lots of black friends proves they are not racist. Wouldn't the quality of the bond you have with one person black, brown, or anything else be more of a determining factor for whether you became friends with somebody than having a large quantity of black friends just so that you can take pictures to show with them all and prove that they were close friends even though your group of friends changes every few years and you hardly remember the people you said were friends a few years ago now? Not liking someone (based on who they are and not their complexion) is a negative but valid/legitimate way to feel about somebody, yet somebody that collects a lot of friends they don't even hold sacred would deny and defer any negative feelings and image to somebody else to make themselves look good or respectable, claiming that they like all black and brown people they ever met without a thought about it. Not all black and brown people like every white person they meet, why would every white person like every black or brown person they meet? Because someone told them they couldn't dislike somebody or it was discrimination nowadays?
Having many and varied black friends doesn't really prove anything about a person, besides possibly that you're someone that pretends to be friends with a lot of people you don't really care about (like a president) and that you play many sides that all think you are their friend.

Get the Secretmug. The new excuse for prices of everything going up, though prices of things not delivered by trucks, such as rent or TV streaming/cable is also going up a faster rate in the last year or so than it had the years before, when things had been somewhat steady.
The people making a fortune off the pandemic aren't limited to price gouging items on the internet websites or in stores, they also raise prices for the same TV service for example, and would still cut a few channels from the list of channels you had so that you don't really have any realistic options besides terminating service or paying more. Saying there are a shortage of truck drivers (a problem created by the same people making money off masks/vaccines/medical supplies and restrictions/rules/laws/mandates/guidelines they created) is just another excuse for them to take more money than they already are from people, and give nothing back to them.
