Trying to force somebody or a group to respect you through threats of stricter measures, more laws/rules, statistics, and other shit like that.
The clown was looking for clown tactics to use his/her bank account to force eople to respect him/her via doubling down on rules and laws.

Get the Clown tacticsmug. If being a moron hasn't gone wrong for you yet, its too bad for everyone else you haven't got yourself hurt at least once by your own actions.
Lindsay never told people about the times she fucked something up, since she liked to keep hearing them tell her about lucky she was to still be alive. Nobody ever told her anything harsh though, such as most morons wouldn't still be here today if they used your (lack of) judgment or self control. She was allowed by other people to talk her shit about every moron in the world, but the minute anybody did the same to her, they were cold hearted, or mean spirited, or nasty, always the other person was the bad guy.

Get the Moronmug. People sometimes use mob rule to get things done they wouldn't otherwise get done (to try and get a title they didn't win a few years ago for example). They would rather try and take a title with mob rule than acknowledge they got beat by a team from a town out in the middle of nowhere.
The point of having more than 2 teams in every sport is for any team from any town that has one (no matter how small the market) has a chance to get to the big game and get a title, just like the rest of the teams. Mob rule fucks it up by favoring the cities with the most people and letting the rest of the country know their teams can't have any titles.

Get the Insecuremug. You might have thought Jack Palance and Matt Damon were really Irish (or South African for Matt Damon), or Colin Farrell was really Italian, or Jeffrey Wright was really a Dominican that was racist against black people, or that Lorraine Bracco was Jewish and Ray Liotta was Italian (who knows who the guy really is but him) until you looked it up on Wikipedia (or behind you). Then they start to seem a little bit more like posers trying to talk weird than people that teenagers look up to or try to become.
