A euphamism for getting high on weed or LSD. Comes from a discussion about Jimmy Hendrix. The supposition was that he must have been so high while playing that he thought he was fighting demons.

Must say "fight the demons" while playing the air guitar.

It is not constructive, it is not destructive. An act (often of minor vandalism) that doesn't really cause any harm but also isn't really productive, either.

They used stencils to professionally paint house numbers on to the street (like on the sidewalks in California and other suburban areas).
