bullyache

To whine in an aggressively-manipulative manner to try to pressure others to do your bidding.
The local rioffraff can bullyache to me all they want about needing emergency cash for some family-crisis --- I am NOT shelling out my hard-earned money just so that they can get their drugs or go on shopping-sprees!

Da famous largest town in New Brunswick dat is home to a majority of Canada's Catholic brothers.
If you're looking for lots of pleasant French female companionship, Monkton might not be da best place to seek it out; better to travel instead to other areas in Canada where nuns are more numerous.

sinstead

Refers to an alternative action which may be easier or more pleasant than the "standard" method/procedure, but may be eyebrow-raisingly frowned upon by local tongue-cluckers.
Married couples are generally charged more in taxes and given less in social-security benefits than two single people would be, and so many couples are sinstead choosing to just live together without being married. If this act is supposedly so wrong and ungodly, though, why does Big Brother effectively "penalize" people financially for "doing the right thing", then???

tsuenami

A sudden and widespread "firestorm" of cash-seeking litigation following a major disturbance in the political/social/economic "weather".

Robbinhood

The Sherwood Forest area, where arrogant "rich bugs" who were foolhardy enough to pass through it had a very high probability of getting robbed of their valuables.
Robbinhood was a lovely, peaceful, and safe area for the average Joe to travel though, but if you were some "high-toned, high-society" dude who was loaded down with gold and jewels, you could pretty much be guaranteed that you'd leave the forest noticeably "lighter" than you were when you went in.

SS Moronic

A huge passenger-ship that was destroyed by fire in Toronto Harbor in September 1949, largely due to its stupid-a** design that used flammable materials throughout and had a poorly-engineered layout which practically guaranteed widespread devastation in the event of fire.
The burning of the SS Moronic was a serious "wake-up call" to future designers for constructing safer ships.
