Some people are such dyed-in-the-wool misoggynists that they only want to eat bananas that are green; I prefer bananas when they are just starting to get little brown spots.

A celebratory gathering where either most of the people who are there are whiningly bored or otherwise don't wanna attend/stay, or where one or more of the "prominent" attendees publicly orgasm during said shindig.

Nobody was happy about having to attend sex-education class until it was announced that the students would be allowed to "practice" what they'd learned by performing oral sex on each other; it then turned into a real ceremoany.

A fancy-schamncy concert-hall in NYC that features everyone's favorite cloyingly-sweet TV personality.

Other folks can attend the fancy hyped programs at the Metropolitan Oprah House if they choose, but I am not really into all the glitz and drama --- gimme a nice quiet friendly backyard barbecue or simple country-folk musical-shindig EVERY time.
