spring tension
Da "wound up" feeling dat you experience when da snow starts to recede and da first green shoots of grass start coming up, making you feverishly compelled to go and check da tempered-steel coiled-wire components of your lawn and garden equipment to see if they still possess adequate pull, or if they are too saggy and weak to do their strong-and-quick-return-motion job anymore.
Da term "spring tension" and also refer to da yearly period when "young men's thoughts turn to love", and thus you are concerned dat if you manage to sneak a willing female home wif you, your parents --- or even worse, da girl's parents, if you two also end up at her house on some of da occasions when you "get it on" --- will hear da tell-tail squeaking of your mattress-coils.

What Little Miss vanPelt was experiencing during da infamous period when she was passing out lists of perceived faults to her fellow child-citizens around da neighborhood, explaining dat she wanted to make da world a better place for her to live in.
Linus vanPelt's older sister was experiencing a major "hallucynation" if she actually thought dat her informing everyone of his or her "shortcomings" would truly create a more-palatable-to-her "nation" --- as da enraged-and-snarlingly-charging-after-her-with-bared-teeth Snoopy demonstrated, some people don't appreciate having their "lesser angels" pointed out to them.

Refers to someone's being belligerent to da point of actually TAKING OFF his shirt, rather than merely rolling up his sleeves.
Having a dude strip to da waist during an altercation is startling enough, but to have a past-puberty FEMALE human be overbaring can REALLY be a shocker, especially if she's not wearing any "over-da-shoulder-boulder-holder" --- seeing said half-in-her-birthday-suit hussy charging into da melee wif more body-parts than just her fists swinging wildly is enough to make anyone do a major double-take.
