Derogatory (although deserved) term for panhandlers after their method of sizing up who looks the most vulnerable to be hit up on for money, like the bird species which swoops around looking for what they think are weak and/or injured animals to consume.
I see some homeless people swooping all around me like vultures, time to make a abrupt turn away from them!

Seattle

A very decent city in the Pacific Northwest region that has a high quality lifestyle, great outdoor activities and climate year round, but unfortunately is also a stronghold of radical environmentalists and liberals.
If it wasn't for all the leftist politics in Seattle, I would still be staying around there and not have moved.

A politically correct term for everyone from the New Orleans region. "Evacuee" became a mainstream term after Jesse Jackson complained about the term being used by the media.
Jesse Jackson: "These people are not refugees, they are Americans!"
