CD rot
A condition seen in cheaply-made CDs or ones that have been exposed to water, polluted air, dust, etc. for prolonged periods of time. Usually manifests as an unusual coloration, "crud" growing, and partially or completely unplayable areas of a CD. So much for the wonders of modern technology!
bugology
I just learned in bugology that there are some types of mosquitoes that are actually considered beautiful because of their colorful bodies.

Organic chemistry, because of the appearance of benzene rings and similar structures used to notate the shapes of molecules.

walking Level 5
An annoying person who hovers over you on a train, bus, or on a plane, and constantly coughs and/or sneezes on you. "Level 5" refers to the highest level of biohazard in a "hot lab".
I'm trying to stay away from the walking Level 5s on the train, because I have no sick time left at my job.
