ano del caldo

slang term used by Mexican and Mexican Americans to describe somthing that is outdated and antiquated. Literally (or cliterally) means "year of the stew." The underlying idea is that anyone who heard this would ask "Year of the stew? when was that?" and the reply would be, "so so long ago, no one remembers..."

"Karina stared in horror at the purple sequins skirts we had been given to wear and she said 'these skirts?! these are from el ano del caldo!"

ano de la cachetada 

much like ano del caldo, (year of the stew) this term also describes something or someone who is outdated and really needs a serious make-over. Literally means "year of the slap." (Implying, no one knows or remembers when exactly was the year of the slap because it was so long ago.)

"Mom have you seen this movie before, I think it's pretty old..."

"MMM, that's from el ano de la cachetada...."

pobrecita 

a term used when a female is hurt and you think it's kind of funny, she may or may not be cute, but you are poking fun at her misfortune just the same. Literally means "poor thing".

"Ay pobrecita, she got dumped when her husband found her with sancho...."

viejaso 

this is a term Hispanic people use to describe the specific point in time when a super formerly hot chick goes to being not hot.....this typically occurs to former hot chicks around menopause, or when they decide to one day, cut off all their hair, get fat, and wear glasses instead of contacts.

"Damn, have you seen so-and-so lately....?"

"no, why, is she even more hot than the last time I saw her?"

"Hell no! she hit the viejaso! seriously dude, I thought it was her mom when I ran into her at the liquor store..."

crypt orchid 

the scientific terms used to describe the physical condition of a male born without having had his testicles descend into the scrotum and therefore his scrotum is empty and his testicles are in the trunk of the body. This male may get prosthetic testicles for his sac or be doomed to a life of flapping scrotum skin in the wind.

"what was that?"

"oh, it's my empty scrotum flapping in the breeze....it's my crypt orchids..."

crunchy money 

this term describes monetary bills of variable denominations which have been earned by one who is dancing at the time the bills are placed onto the dancer's body. As a result the sweat from the dancer's body will be absorbed into the bills and if not pulled straight while still damp, will result in a heaps of crunchy money. Typically the bills will contain phone numbers and will be fold lengthwise as to facilitate placement into various crevices created by the dancer's shapely physiological components.

"did you go to the ATM?"

"no, but I worked last night, so I've got lots a crunchy money"

semi 

the state of a penis which is not altogether flaccid nor erect. It will often occur at inopportune embarrasing times and will be brought on purposefully by a cunning sexy woman pretending she has no idea what she is doing.

"why are you still friends with some of your ex-boyfriends?"

"I like to keep them healthy and providing the regular semi keeps the circulatory system in check."
